The Part Worth Knowing:

Found while hunting abroad, this example dates to 1974, and it has exactly the kind of dial you're always looking for and rarely find. 

Personally, my favorite dial typers are the ones that are either perfect — or the complete opposite. This one is the latter. The matte blue surface has developed that rare textured finish, almost like the lunar surface. The paint/laquer used on the dials decayed at a rapid rate. It's the kind of aging that only time can create. 

Condition Report:

Case: Previously polished with even lugs and shows very light wear throughout. No significant blemishes.

Dial: The square tritium plots have taken on a deep, rich patina, with the original snowflake hands matching under UV inspection.
