Frequently asked questions
Can I visit or meet in person?
Absolutely—and it’s encouraged. Buying a watch online can be a big decision, especially when it’s a vintage piece. I’m available for private, discreet showings in NYC, or via FaceTime if you’re further away and can’t make it in person.
How will my watch be shipped?
Artofthepart offers free and fully insured shipping on every US order. We ship Monday to Thursday via our secure overnight delivery services. All deliveries require an adult signature upon receipt.
International orders are subject to a shipping fee.
What payment methods are accepted?
All payments are made via wire transfer. Wire instructions will be provided in the invoice upon checkout.
What is the return policy?
For all United States based orders, if a watch arrives and it is not as described or there is a major discrepancy from what was ordered versus what was advertised or communicated by Artofthepart, you may return the watch within three days of receiving the item. All items must be in the same condition which you received it and must not have been worn, used, damaged, altered, opened or tampered with in any way, shape or form. We have the rights to withhold funds until we receive the product(s) and inspection is made.
Is authenticity guarenteed?
In the world of vintage watches, authenticity is perhaps the most important aspect of choosing a watch and even a seller.
We personally offer a lifetime guarantee of the authenticity, condition and functionality of each watch sold through Artofthepart
Warranty
We do our best to accurately and transparently describe the condition of every watch. Due to the nature and age of vintage timepieces, all watches are sold as-is unless a warranty is specifically stated in the listing.
If a warranty is included with a watch, it covers the accuracy and timekeeping of the movement from the date of purchase. The warranty does not cover damage, misuse, or accidental damage that occurs after the watch has been purchased.
